Chris Rosoff is the founder and lead Sommelier here at W3. His appreciation for wine started at an early age, learning from his grandparents who were passionate wine drinkers and avid collectors, and continued from there. As he learned more about wine, the more fascinated he became. He also started to pay attention to how that message was being delivered to others. Unfortunately, the snobbery that goes with wine and whiskey is all too common and he set out to change it. After extensive personal experience collected over decades, Chris became certified as a Sommelier both by the National Wine School and as an Advanced Sommelier by the International Sommelier Guild. He now lectures around the country on a professional basis to help people understand more about what they’re drinking in an environment which is fun and comfortable. He is as adept at helping newcommers feel welcome, as he is talking about the details of wine chemistry with vintners, or rickhouse details with distillers.
